Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer with Backend Expertise

Role Overview

Our partner company, based in Ireland, seeks an experienced Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer heavily focused on backend development to spearhead the creation and scaling of innovative AI-driven SaaS products. This position encompasses full ownership of sophisticated projects, spanning from initial concept and design through to production release, emphasizing backend systems while contributing across the full technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex product projects, including discovery, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain and enhance backend infrastructure, while also working on client-side components and customer-facing interfaces.
• Design, develop, and scale reliable SaaS solutions adhering to modern engineering standards and prioritizing quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and various stakeholders to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Decompose large, ambiguous projects into manageable, incremental deliverables that facilitate validation and enhancement.
• Leverage data analytics and product insights to assess feature efficacy, business impact, and drive decision-making.
• Influence technical strategy by identifying future engineering hurdles and fostering capabilities for sustainable product evolution.
• Advocate for architectural excellence, optimized engineering processes, and uphold rigorous standards for code and system dependability.
• Mentor engineering peers to reinforce a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
• Contribute to products utilizing advanced technologies such as AI workflows, video generation, experimentation platforms, billing systems, and real-time collaboration tools.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years in professional software engineering roles, including at least 3 years in senior or leadership capacities.
• Demonstrated success within high-performing engineering teams at scale, either in rapidly growing startups or established organizations.
• Expertise in backend development paired with a readiness to work across the full technology stack.
• Experience building and managing enterprise-scale SaaS products with complex technical demands.
• Strong grasp of software architecture, system scalability, design principles, and production best practices.
• Collaborative experience delivering customer-centric features and working closely with product teams.
• A solid product-oriented perspective, connecting technical decisions to business and customer outcomes.
• Prior exposure to AI technologies, developer platforms, video, experimentation, billing, or real-time collaboration systems is highly advantageous.
• Leadership or mentoring experience for engineering teams is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work efficiently within remote, global teams.

• Competitive salary starting around 65,000 monthly or
  13130,000 annually (approximate and location-based) supplemented by Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
