Overview

B&Q in St Neots is seeking a Shift Lead for a permanent, full-time role averaging 36.75 hours weekly. The position acts as a keyholder with shifts beginning as early as 6am and finishing as late as 10pm. The salary is £27,709.50 per annum, complemented by a pension scheme and 6.6 weeks of holiday annually.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

The Shift Lead plays a critical role in maintaining a secure and efficient retail environment, overseeing daily operations to provide an excellent experience for customers and colleagues alike. This role involves managing colleague deployment to enhance customer engagement and ensuring the store's safety throughout the shift. The Shift Lead serves as the primary contact point for both customers and staff, ensuring the smooth functioning of store activities.
