Role Overview

The Software Integration Engineering Internship offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge vehicle systems and automated test environments. Under the guidance of seasoned engineers, interns contribute to designing, constructing, and executing automation for validating next-generation vehicle access and connectivity functions. This position enables practical application of academic knowledge in real industry settings, focusing on large-scale system testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for several vehicle platforms.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining automated vehicle test benches under supervision.
• Ensure test setups are safe, reliable, and prepared for daily operations.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and hardware problems.
• Create dashboards and visualizations that display test outcomes effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new automation tools and optimize testing processes.
• Gain experience working within CI/CD pipelines and Python-based automation frameworks.

Qualifications

• Availability for a full-time engagement from October 2026 to March 2027.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related domains.
• Strong enthusiasm for automation, embedded systems, or vehicle technologies.
• Basic proficiency in Python programming; familiarity with C/C++ or object-oriented programming is advantageous.
• Interest in integrating hardware and software with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback and learning.
• Prior experience with hardware interfacing, robotics, or automation projects, either academically or personally.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Allure, Grafana, or custom dashboard creation.
