About the Internship
SelfCode Academy, an e-learning platform by 1stMentor, invites applications for a UI/UX Design Instructor internship. This remote, part-time opportunity allows you to guide students through comprehensive UI/UX design education over a period of three months.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and record high-quality video lectures following the established UI/UX Design curriculum.
- Clarify UI/UX concepts through practical demonstrations, case studies, and hands-on examples.
- Showcase industry tools such as Figma and Miro along with other relevant design and prototyping software.
- Cover a wide range of topics including fundamentals of UI/UX, wireframing, prototyping, user research, information architecture, visual design, usability testing, accessibility, design systems, responsive design, and emerging UX trends.
- Support learners in completing practical projects, developing their portfolios, and successfully accomplishing capstone assignments.
- Ensure the instructional content is engaging, well-organized, and conducive to self-paced learning.
Candidate Eligibility
- You must be available to work from home.
- Internship start date should be between July 24, 2026, and August 28, 2026.
- Commitment to the full 3-month internship duration is necessary.
- Possess relevant expertise and enthusiasm in UI/UX design and education.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong grasp of UI/UX design fundamentals and user-centered design approaches.
- Practical experience working with Figma and current UI/UX workflows.
- Proven ability to simplify complex design concepts and deliver them in an engaging manner.
- Hands-on experience in producing wireframes, prototypes, user flow diagrams, and responsive interface designs.
- Knowledge of usability testing, accessibility standards such as WCAG, and design systems is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and effective content delivery.
Compensation and Perks
- The internship offers a stipend ranging between 30,000 and 50,000 INR as a lump sum payment.
