Job Overview
We are searching for a diligent 2nd Shift Samples Order Puller who will assist in cutting carpet orders and ensuring quality control within our Calhoun facility. This role involves work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Selected candidates will be eligible for a hiring and retention bonus of up to $1,000 payable within the first year of employment, with bonus details provided during the interview.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect finished carpet products carefully to detect defects, damages, or inconsistencies following quality standards by utilizing measuring tools and visual assessments.
- Report any non-conforming materials or products promptly to supervisors for corrective actions.
- Package products that meet quality requirements securely and neatly, ensuring that labeling meets customer specifications.
- Adhere strictly to all safety and quality procedures throughout daily operations.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams to achieve timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work environment.
- Assist in training new employees on quality assurance and packing protocols when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong dedication to ensuring product quality.
- Ability to comprehend and accurately follow written instructions, labels, and product specifications.
- Basic proficiency in mathematics and computer operations for accurate recordkeeping and labeling processes.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements for extended durations.
- Self-motivation to work independently, as well as the ability to function collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn and support various functions across the production line as required.
