직무 설명
Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to serve aboard an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) under a contract basis in Qatar. The vessel is flagged in the Marshall Islands with a gross tonnage of 4399 and powered by two Niigata 8L28 HX main engines delivering 2206 kW each.
Responsibilities & Role
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for engineering duties on board the OSV, ensuring optimal performance and safety of the vessel's mechanical and propulsion systems.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven relevant experience working on Offshore Support Vessels.
- Possession of valid maritime certifications including BOSIET, CA-EBS, GWO Sea Survival, and GWO Manual Handling.
- Up-to-date STCW certificates and a current medical fitness certificate.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate in a maritime environment.
Contract Details
- Contract length approximately six to eight weeks.
- Starting date scheduled for August 12 in Qatar.
- Salary is negotiable based on the applicant's experience.
