Access Management Administrator

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and self-driven Access Management Administrator to join our IT Security team based in Sydney. This person will be tasked with managing user identities and access permissions across our enterprise systems, ensuring adherence to security policies while enabling smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage user access by provisioning, modifying, and revoking permissions for applications, systems, and network resources.
• Handle access requests aligning with company policies and security guidelines.
• Conduct periodic access audits and reviews of user entitlements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot identity and access management (IAM) issues promptly.
• Work closely with IT, HR, and business teams to maintain correct user access during the employee lifecycle.
• Keep accurate records of all access requests, approvals, and system modifications.
• Support compliance efforts, participate in internal audits, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and escalate access-related security incidents as necessary.
• Engage in IAM-related projects, contribute to process enhancements, and assist in system implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years experience working in Identity and Access Management, IT Administration, or InfoSec roles.
• Knowledge of directory services such as Active Directory, Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), or LDAP.
• Experience with IAM tools like SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Saviynt, or Microsoft Identity Manager is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), least privilege access, and segregation of duties.
• Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance such as ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR is beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem resolution, and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
