Role Overview

This position involves end-to-end ownership of the sales process targeting enterprises in Singapore and other ASEAN nations, spanning industries such as financial services, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, and the public sector. The Account Executive is expected to be an engaging communicator, adept at understanding client needs and crafting tailored solutions leveraging Cohere's platform to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Drive acquisition of new clients through proactive outbound business development and stakeholder engagement.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, gaining deep insights into their challenges and tailoring impactful solutions to support their goals.
Partner with channel collaborators to amplify outreach and enhance customer satisfaction across the assigned region.
Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to align product offerings with large enterprise customer requirements.
Work alongside Sales Development Representatives to boost lead generation efforts.
Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting, proof-of-concept, negotiation to deal closure.

Candidate Profile

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in enterprise B2B sales with a proven record of negotiating and closing significant deals and consistently exceeding quotas.
Technical product sales experience including developer tools, APIs, or AI/NLP technologies is advantageous.
History of collaborative work with channel partners to achieve joint revenue targets.
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments as an early member of a growing sales team.
Strong curiosity to deeply understand Agentic AI and NLP technology.
Excellent communication skills, including attentive listening, strong relationship-building, and the ability to engage both technical and executive-level audiences confidently.
