Accountant

Role overview

Tursian Beauty is looking for an experienced and meticulous Accountant to handle core financial operations from its Dubai Silicon Oasis office in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time position with working hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The role suits someone with over 3 years of UAE accounting experience, advanced QuickBooks knowledge, and a strong understanding of local financial regulations. Experience in retail, beauty, skincare, or e-commerce businesses will be especially valuable.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activity, including payables, receivables, and bank reconciliation work.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, and other recurring financial summaries accurately.
• Track cash movement, forecast financial needs, and keep a close watch on spending patterns.
• Make sure all accounting activities follow UAE tax laws, internal policies, and accepted standards.
• Review financial data to spot opportunities for reducing costs and improving margins.
• Work with leadership to shape and execute finance plans that support business expansion.
• Support audits, tax submissions, and other regulatory reporting obligations.
• Monitor inventory-related expenses and carry out pricing analysis for skincare and beauty products.
• Keep accounting records up to date in QuickBooks and any other systems used by the business.
• Handle accounting entries for e-commerce sales, including reconciliation of payment gateways and related reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least 4–5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Background in skincare, beauty, retail, or e-commerce operations is strongly preferred.
• Strong capability in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Good working knowledge of UAE tax rules, compliance requirements, and accounting practices.
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and organizational discipline.
• Ability to work on your own, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to finance management.
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and payment reconciliation workflows is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent are considered a plus.
