Position Overview
Huawei Zimbabwe seeks to recruit an Admin Manager responsible for overseeing various operational and administrative functions to support business efficiency and continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively assess business changes to efficiently manage office space, including venue leasing, decoration, relocation, space utilization, travel, immigration, and fixed asset administration to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Develop and enforce local health and safety assurance systems and emergency response strategies for high-risk areas, reducing risks and ensuring prompt handling of health and safety incidents to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Establish cost-effective and high-quality employee living support services such as catering, accommodation, and transportation to improve staff performance and morale.
- Manage local administrative procurement risks, promote ethical supplier relationships, and maintain affiliations with governmental bodies related to immigration, security, and labor to ensure a stable environment.
- Oversee comprehensive risk management and internal control compliance within the administrative domain, including business continuity planning and drills for various scenarios such as natural disasters and public health emergencies.
- Handle administrative expense processes by managing procurement and payment requests, safeguarding funds and assets, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and analyzing expenditures for effectiveness.
- Assist the human resources team in fostering a positive organizational climate by organizing large-scale events and enhancing staff cohesion and belonging through systematic management.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum three years of experience in service project management with a technical background in datacom, transmission, or wireless technologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities, proactive attitude, strong learning capacity, enterprising spirit, teamwork orientation, passion, generosity, and a strong focus on achieving results.
- Fluency in English with effective expression and dialogue capabilities; strong customer communication skills.
- Experience in enterprise service environments is advantageous.
