Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled administrator to deliver administrative assistance and programme support to our Clinical Teams. Your role will involve supporting clinical service managers and coordinating service delivery programmes. Key responsibilities include managing multiple databases related to the Primary Mental Health service, handling referrals, caseloads, service activities, logistics support for contracted providers, and coordinating with internal general practice teams.

Additionally, you will act as the primary liaison for suppliers, the district lead, and the Tairāwhiti team, overseeing office and facility needs such as equipment, supplies, catering, venue bookings, reception, and vehicle management.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum qualification of Level 2 NCEA
  • Preferably experience in the health sector
  • Prior administrative experience emphasizing accuracy and a passion for data handling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Comfortable with new IT systems and quick to learn them
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and thrive in team settings
  • Take initiative and proactively identify areas where support is needed
  • Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic work environment
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and independently organise workload
  • Valid full driver's license required
