Role Overview

As an AI Full Stack Developer at Claire, your responsibility will be to conceptualize, develop, and maintain comprehensive web applications that drive AI-powered clinical processes. Your work will span both front-end and back-end development, including AI service integration, API management, and secure, efficient handling of clinical information. Daily tasks involve teamwork with product managers, clinical experts, and designers to turn requirements into scalable software solutions, implementing physician-focused user interfaces, and boosting system reliability and ease of maintenance. Your duties also encompass participating in code reviews, testing efforts, and ongoing enhancement of development workflows. This position is primarily on-site in Toronto, Ontario, with flexible hybrid working options.

Key Qualifications

• Robust full-stack software development experience, including designing and deploying production-level applications.
• Expertise in back-end web development covering API creation, data persistence, and secure, dependable service integration.
• Proficient front-end development skills involving responsive UI design using contemporary JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong command of CSS for layout design, styling consistency, and uniform web experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, SQL and/or NoSQL databases, and source code versioning using Git.
• Knowledge or eagerness to engage with AI and machine learning integrations in product development alongside AI teams.
• Capability to produce clean, maintainable code, adhere to best practice standards, and participate in automated testing and continuous integration efforts.
• Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with both technical and clinical multidisciplinary groups.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Previous exposure to healthcare or health technology sectors, with a passion for enhancing clinical workflows and patient care, is a plus.
