Architect CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist - Remote

About the Role

This contract position involves creating precise architectural and construction drawings remotely. The specialist will generate detailed floor plans, elevations, and CAD drawings to meet project needs, including integration of electrical and PCB layouts. The role demands accurate GD&T callouts for manufacturing use and the creation of annotated multi-sheet electrical schematics aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevation drawings tailored to project specifications.
• Create extensive CAD documentation for architectural and engineering applications.
• Apply thorough Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts ensuring manufacturing documentation accuracy.
• Produce and annotate comprehensive multi-page electrical schematics conforming to industry practices.
• Design and evaluate PCB layouts incorporating best manufacturability and functional standards.
• Engage in collaborative communication to clarify design requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Deliver complete documentation packages aligned with project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years of recent experience focused on architectural CAD and construction documentation.
• Expertise in standard 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
• Proficient in creating and interpreting GD&T annotations and complex schematic diagrams.
• Experienced in multi-sheet electrical schematic development and PCB layout integration in building designs.
• Meticulous attention to detail combined with strong organizational capabilities managing large document sets.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience working remotely in cross-functional teams is advantageous.
