Role Overview
This position involves comprehensive architectural responsibilities under the leadership of project management to ensure successful execution of projects aligned with design standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks assigned by the Project Director, Associate, or Architect to achieve project goals ensuring quality and compliance.
- Provide support in design, technical aspects, and adherence to building codes and regulations.
- Oversee feasibility studies and manage design phases for projects.
- Conduct and interpret site analysis data for informed design decisions.
- Support documentation efforts during concept and detailed design stages.
- Collaborate with consultants on design, technical coordination, and regulatory matters.
- Assist in preparing documentation for building tenders and manage contract administration.
- Compile necessary information to fulfill regulatory and legislative requirements for work approvals.
- Contribute to procurement processes as needed.
- Participate in meetings with site teams and consultants regarding design and technical coordination.
- Coordinate collectively with team members on various assignments.
- Create models using Revit, CAD software, or manual drafting techniques.
- Utilize digital platforms and computational data to enhance pre-design and design workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Architectural Studies such as BA (AS), BSc, or BArch.
- Proficient in design and 3D modelling software including AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, BIM (Revit), and Adobe Creative Cloud alongside Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding and practical application of planning and building codes.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- Shows initiative, independent working ability, and excellent time management to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Open and collaborative mindset encouraging teamwork and shared success.
- Open to fresh graduates; candidates with relevant experience considered for senior position.
