Job Summary
Located in Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, this role offers frontline care services with an annual salary range of ,000 to 35,000. Employees work a 7-day shift roster that includes overnight hours, supporting individuals with conditions such as autism, acquired brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, mental health challenges, and more.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with their personalized daily plans and activities.
- Provide support during community engagements and outings.
- Help service users develop education and skill-building opportunities to achieve personal goals.
- Support everyday living tasks including cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and facilitating family visits.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Work shifts covering 24 hours over 7 days.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- No specific academic qualifications required for Assistant Support Workers; all necessary training will be provided.
- Social Care Workers should hold a Level 7 or 8 degree in social care, healthcare, or a related field and must be registered with CORU.
- Relevant life experience is preferable but not mandatory.
- A positive work ethic and genuine passion for supporting individuals are essential.
- Possession of a full driver's license or actively pursuing it is required.
