Azure DevOps & Integration Engineer

Role Overview

The Azure DevOps & Integration Engineer is tasked with architecting, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and integration layers supporting enterprise applications. Collaborating under guidance from onshore solution architects and integration leads, the role ensures secure, scalable deployments and seamless connectivity between application platforms and ERP systems through Azure and Oracle Fusion Cloud integration services.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Azure cloud components such as App Service, Azure SQL, API Management, Service Bus, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps YAML-based CI/CD pipelines across frontend, backend, integration, and data platform domains.
• Establish environment branching strategies and oversee deployment promotion across Development, Staging, and Production stages.
• Design, develop, and support Oracle Integration Cloud flows including batch jobs, event-driven triggers, real-time write-back, and incremental data synchronization.
• Configure Azure API Management policies addressing routing, authentication, throttling, and traffic control.
• Implement diverse integration patterns for Oracle Fusion Cloud using REST/SOAP APIs, BICC extracts, FBDI processes, and ERP integration points.
• Construct validation, reconciliation, and data freshness workflows linking Oracle Fusion Cloud, Azure staging, SQL databases, and reporting layers.
• Deploy comprehensive error handling, retry logic, dead-letter queues, monitoring, alerting, and recovery for integration tasks.
• Integrate security scanning solutions such as Veracode and SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines to prevent critical vulnerabilities from advancing to deployment.
• Administer Azure Key Vault for secrets, certificates, API keys, and connection strings management.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and environment setup across development, testing, and production teams.
• Continuously monitor pipeline health, deployment status, infrastructure performance, and integration reliability; escalate issues promptly.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, CI/CD processes, integration flows, operational runbooks, and deployment guidelines.
• Assist in System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, production rollouts, and post-deployment support.
• Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance automation, integration development, documentation quality, and security remediation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 to 8 years in DevOps, platform or integration engineering roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure cloud services including App Service, SQL, API Management, Service Bus, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experienced in Azure DevOps encompassing YAML-based pipeline design, CI/CD automation, branching strategies, release, and environment management.
• Hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud development expertise.
• Skilled in Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, BICC extracts, FBDI uploads, and event-driven techniques.
• Strong understanding of batch scheduling, incremental data loads, reconciliation, and synchronization.
• Advanced SQL abilities for data validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
• Knowledgeable in Azure API gateway and API security configuration.
• Experience embedding security tools like Veracode or SonarQube into deployment pipelines.
• Solid grasp of secrets and certificate lifecycle management with Azure Key Vault.
• Experience managing multi-environment deployments with controlled release governance.
• Familiar with asynchronous messaging frameworks such as Azure Service Bus.
• Utilization of AI technologies to optimize DevOps and integration development.
• Strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration across distributed global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Microsoft AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer) and AZ-104 (Azure Administrator).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Prior integration experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud modules like PPM, Financials, SCM, or HCM.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Functions, Logic Apps, or Synapse pipelines.
• Familiarity with production infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and operational runbooks.
• Oracle Integration Cloud certification is advantageous.
• Background in enterprise-scale cloud migration, ERP integrations, and hybrid cloud setups.
