Barista

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Head Barista to become an integral member of our specialty coffee team. This role is much more than just making coffee; it involves crafting a unique coffee experience, engaging warmly with customers, and assisting in light food preparation behind the bar.

Key Responsibilities

• Master the art of espresso extraction, create silky micro-foam for latte art, and brew manual pour-over coffee methods such as V60 and Aeropress.
• Interact warmly with guests, greet them with a friendly attitude, and offer personalized recommendations based on their taste preferences.
• Prepare simple café snacks like artisanal toasts, salads, and heated sandwiches using basic induction cooking techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area ready for any occasion.
• Ensure every cup served meets the high standards expected of specialty coffee quality.

Candidate Profile

• Fluent communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or Marathi, with the ability to describe coffee notes informally and clearly.
• Hands-on experience operating semi-automatic espresso machines is highly advantageous, paired with an eager, continuous learning mindset.
• Comfortable and knowledgeable with basic induction cooking and maintaining food safety standards.
• Dependable, punctual, and consistently prepared to deliver excellent coffee service.
• Composure under pressure during busy periods, especially weekend mornings.

Terms and Benefits

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The salary ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience. The role offers a flexible schedule to help maintain work-life balance.
