Business Analyst

Overview

This role entails supporting business analysis operations within the Commercial System domain by collecting, documenting, validating, and updating business requirements. The Business Analyst contributes to both current and future state evaluations and aids in designing solutions aligned with business goals and stakeholder expectations, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor business analysis activities, establishing appropriate methods and work plans according to scope and required formality.
• Identify and engage relevant stakeholders, fostering effective collaborative relationships.
• Maintain analytical tools, repositories, and documentation to ensure accessibility and integrity.
• Coordinate requirements gathering sessions, organizing necessary logistics and stakeholder involvement.
• Collect, verify, and validate business requirements to ensure clarity, accuracy, and mutual agreement.
• Document business needs using formal and informal techniques; manage requirement records and approvals throughout the lifecycle.
• Encourage reuse of requirements and related data across suitable projects.
• Participate in analyzing current operational states and prospective future conditions, including capabilities, processes, technology, infrastructure, and rules.
• Identify gaps, changes, and transitional needs to achieve target future states, assessing risks and impacts.
• Assist in solution design by elaborating requirements through modeling, diagramming, and analytical methods ensuring alignment with business quality standards.
• Collaborate with technical and business parties to clarify and validate solution requirements.
• Help evaluate design alternatives to select options that optimize business outcomes and align with future goals.
• Provide feedback from solution assessments and register enhancement requests as needed.
• Maintain continuous accuracy, consistency, and traceability of requirements; support prioritization based on stakeholder and business value considerations.
• Ensure all requirements and solutions meet approved quality standards.
• Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, providing timely updates, clarification follow-ups, and clear summaries of analysis results and gaps.
• Adhere strictly to all organizational policies, procedures, safety and quality protocols ensuring work consistency and a safe environment.
• Uphold information security standards to protect data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience ranging from none to two years in business analysis, requirements management, system analysis, or related fields is essential.
