About the Role

Join Hypertec Group as a Business Process Analyst within our Corporate team in Montreal, where you will play a crucial role in advancing business operations in our Construction division (HCON). This position emphasizes understanding and documenting current workflows, uncovering inefficiencies, and supporting continuous improvement efforts through detailed analysis and process intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate process discovery workshops with operational teams and subject matter experts to capture and map existing workflows using standardized tools and documentation protocols.
• Perform comprehensive gap analyses to identify inefficiencies, risks, redundancies, and areas for enhancement, delivering prioritized reports for both operational and leadership review.
• Develop and nurture strong partnerships with HCON operational stakeholders to ensure accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
• Contribute completed workflow maps and analysis results to an enterprise-wide process repository, adhering to metadata standards, tagging conventions, and AI-readiness criteria.
• Maintain and periodically update process documentation reflecting operational changes, transitions, and improvements in alignment with scheduled review cycles.
• Support the identification and prioritization of improvements and automation opportunities informed by gap analyses.
• Collaborate with the broader Process Intelligence team on documentation standards and tooling, delivering insightful progress and findings reports for operational and executive audiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise in mapping business processes, conducting operational analyses, and performing gap assessments.
• Strong capabilities in engaging stakeholders through structured discovery sessions, fostering trust, and building operational credibility.
• Experienced in utilizing process mapping, diagramming, and documentation software and platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills capable of creating clear and concise documentation and reports for non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to learning and applying AI tools for enhancing documentation, analysis, and reporting tasks.
• Familiarity with data center construction operations, including knowledge of project workflows, trades coordination, commissioning, and procurement processes.
• Understanding of continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, or similar methodologies.
• Experience working within IT-led or enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives.
• A working knowledge of AI, automation, and digital transformation in operational environments.
