About Rainbow Centre
Rainbow Centre's special schools are dedicated to empowering students with disabilities to reach their full potential, enabling them to achieve maximum independence and lead fulfilling lives.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Teacher, the Class Support role involves assisting the teaching team to facilitate effective classroom activities and ensure active student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support curriculum delivery and uphold instructional quality.
- Assist the teaching team in managing and caring for students during class activities.
- Attend to students’ specific hygiene, medical, and safety needs such as toileting and feeding.
- Prepare educational materials and organize learning environments.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and ensure safety standards.
- Monitor and sustain hygiene standards for each student within the classroom.
- Oversee the safe arrival and dismissal of students between classrooms and transportation.
- Foster holistic development by building caring and supportive relationships with students.
- Collaborate with relevant parties as needed to support student behaviour and development.
- Engage in school and Rainbow Centre activities actively.
Candidate Requirements
- Only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply.
- Minimum educational qualification of Secondary 3 or at least four "N" Level passes.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A commitment to service with respect, compassion, dedication, and high ethical standards aligning with Rainbow Centre's values.
