Job Overview

The Staff Housing Cleaner role focuses on upholding cleanliness and safety standards across public and employee areas within staff accommodation facilities.

Key Duties

• Sanitize restrooms and shower areas in both public and employee zones, ensuring sufficient stock of paper supplies and soap, cleaning all surfaces thoroughly, and managing waste disposal.
• Maintain the cleanliness of glass surfaces such as windows and mirrors by removing dust, spots, and streaks.
• Clean floor areas in assigned spaces using appropriate chemicals and equipment including mops, buffers, vacuums, extractors, and stain removers.
• Dust various surfaces including furniture, fixtures, woodwork, pictures, phones, fire extinguisher boxes, exit signs, and air vents within designated areas.
• Collect trash, ashtrays, and ash urns from public areas and dispose of them following recycling and waste protocols.
• Regularly inspect furniture condition for damages like tears or stains and report findings to supervisors.
• Maintain lighting fixtures by cleaning lamps and switches, ensuring operational functionality, and reporting faulty bulbs.
