Role Overview
As a Commis Chef, you will be an essential member of the kitchen team, expected to uphold rigorous health and safety standards including personal hygiene. Your primary responsibility is to deliver creatively prepared, high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. Effective communication with colleagues is vital, involving the ability to accept constructive feedback graciously and execute instructions efficiently.
The role demands composure under pressure while handling multiple simultaneous orders. You will engage in fundamental food preparation and kitchen organization tasks, contributing to the overall success of kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Completion of High School education
- Prior experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations
- A strong passion for collaborative teamwork
- Excellent guest service capabilities
- Familiarity with the basic principles of food preparation, presentation, and preservation
- Awareness of hygiene and food safety protocols
