About the Role

Crypto.com is seeking a Compliance Manager to support its U.S. exchange operations. This role demands high ownership and proactive engagement in a fast-paced environment. The individual will collaborate extensively with the compliance team on a wide range of responsibilities including BSA/AML program support, audit coordination, consumer compliance, policy upkeep, and regulatory remediation. The candidate should bring strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining the Crypto.com Compliance Program covering Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), policy development, procedure updates, and continuous monitoring.
Support AML compliance audits and reviews, working with internal stakeholders to resolve identified issues promptly.
Contribute to planning and managing regulatory remediation projects including defining scope, timelines, allocating resources, and tracking deliverables.
Coordinate remediation activities involving internal teams and external consultants, ensuring communication of progress to relevant parties.
Prepare documentation and presentations for working groups, committees, project dashboards, and executive management.
Manage clear and timely communication with customers during Request for Information (RFI) processes.
Perform due diligence investigations and compliance assessments on an as-needed basis.
Support consumer compliance requirements including Regulatory Compliance with Regulation E (chargebacks, notice obligations, prepaid and credit card compliance) and Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP).
Oversee compliance policies and procedures to keep them updated with evolving regulatory demands and business changes.
Identify process improvement opportunities within compliance functions and contribute to enhancements.
Handle special projects when required.
Liaise with regulators and aid in managing regulatory relationships as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

At least three years of compliance experience within financial services, fintech, or banking sectors.
Proficient understanding of BSA/AML regulatory frameworks.
Direct experience with consumer compliance regulations, particularly Reg E and UDAAP.
Proven skills in supporting regulatory audits, managing remediation initiatives, and coordinating multifaceted compliance efforts.
Meticulous attention to detail with capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
Experience producing materials for working groups, committees, or official regulatory submissions.
Comfortable working in uncertain or ambiguous environments without detailed instructions.
Background in fintech or cryptocurrency industries preferred.
Experience with consumer compliance related to prepaid and credit cards is a plus.
Familiarity with banking regulators and examination procedures is advantageous.
