Content Editor

Overview

This contract role is for a Content Editor supporting a well-known company in the home appliance sector. The assignment runs for 6 months and offers a rate of up to £200 per day. The working model is remote-first, with primarily remote work and occasional onsite presence in London, including two London meetings each month.

The position sits within a digital team and focuses on keeping a high-traffic website accurate, consistent, and optimised across devices. You’ll be involved in product launches as well as day-to-day content maintenance, with responsibility for ensuring pages are polished and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and configure new products in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
• Publish, refresh, and maintain website content supplied by internal stakeholders.
• Update meta titles, meta descriptions, and on-page written copy.
• Upload images and banners, and improve them for web use.
• Apply correct H1/H2 structure and follow best practices for alt text.
• Set up new pages and keep formatting aligned across the site.
• Run detailed checks on desktop and mobile to confirm quality and a strong user experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in AEM, or another comparable CMS.
• Good working knowledge of on-page SEO basics.
• Strong QA mindset with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to juggle several content changes and deadlines at once.
• Comfort working with different teams and stakeholder groups.

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Up to £200 per day

IR35 status: Outside IR35

Working pattern: Remote-first, with 2 London meetings per month

Location: London, United Kingdom, with occasional onsite attendance
