Job Summary
Located in Los Angeles, this role seeks a Creative Producer to collaborate closely within Vanity Fair's dynamic video team to ideate, produce, and direct compelling digital video content. The position demands a proven history of managing high-quality, talent-driven productions with expertise in digital video workflows from initial concept through post-production.
Primary Duties
- Manage all logistical aspects of productions, coordinating with Senior and Coordinating Producers as necessary.
- Produce shoots with editorial clarity and an awareness of the desired final edit.
- Direct shoots and guide Associate Producers from pre-production through final delivery.
- Create social video content using iPhones alongside Vanity Fair writers and at live events such as red carpets.
- Lead creative and operational efforts for shoots spanning concept, art direction, and location selection.
- Maintain a comprehensive grasp of video, audio, and graphic elements throughout production phases.
- Collaborate creatively across projects and support other producers and directors.
- Adapt and respond constructively to stakeholder feedback.
- Understand social media and YouTube programming, audience growth strategies, and series development.
- Work with programming and development teams to refine and optimize content formats.
- Oversee several projects concurrently, managing tight deadlines and changing demands.
- Engage professionally with high-profile talent and their representatives, safeguarding brand reputation.
- Conduct interviews in various settings including field, studio, and remote environments.
- Handle brand and client input promptly and professionally.
- Supervise or assist with post-production tasks—tracking deliverables, coordinating notes, and ensuring timely completion of edits, graphics, music, and final cut delivery.
- Quickly learn new tools and production workflows, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of three years producing and developing digital video content across platforms.
- Proven track record of successful production execution.
