Job description
Role Overview
The Customer Success & Data Insights Engineer plays a key role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support critical business decisions and deliver actionable insights. This position utilizes statistical and analytical approaches to detect trends, patterns, and irregularities, ultimately guiding process optimization and strategic goal achievement. The engineer is responsible for translating complex data into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of data science engineers to investigate, design, develop, and implement projects that produce innovative insights, technologies, and intellectual property.
- Execute data collection, analysis, and visualization tasks in line with project plans.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to conduct experiments and validate findings according to overarching strategies.
- Collect, process, and analyze data through established protocols and communicate results for team review and feedback.
- Contribute to literature, presentations, patent applications, and documentation for peer review and industry dissemination.
- Apply scientific methods and analytical software tools to validate and interpret research data.
- Develop algorithms and mathematical models; experiment and support applications that convert data into insights.
- Participate in the design and improvement of data quality governance frameworks, incorporating processes, standards, and rules.
- Utilize advanced analytics to extract, cleanse, and examine complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Handle moderate complexity issues independently by applying expert judgment within company policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least two years of relevant experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, or database management; advanced degrees with limited experience also considered.
- Certification in programming languages such as SQL or Python.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, business intelligence platforms, data visualization tools, and machine learning concepts.
- Proficient in data management, modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
