Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Professional with expertise in URL scanning and vulnerability management to join our Legal and Compliance department at the Ghansoli office, Navi Mumbai. This position is pivotal in detecting, analyzing, and mitigating risks posed by malicious URLs and system vulnerabilities, thereby safeguarding the organization’s digital infrastructure proactively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure analytical systems to examine URLs, portals, and applications.
• Implement URL categorization using reputation assessment technologies including safe browsing and threat intelligence feeds.
• Investigate suspicious or blocked URLs to assess their legitimacy or potential threats.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and risk evaluations for stakeholders.
• Respond to security incidents involving URLs by taking corrective measures such as blocking or quarantine and user awareness.
• Conduct continuous URL monitoring through various scanning tools to identify phishing, malware or other malicious activities.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans on URLs, portals, and software using industry-standard tools like Nessus, Qualys, and Rapid7.
• Analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize risks based on severity, exploitability, and business impact.
• Coordinate remediation efforts in collaboration with IT and development teams, tracking progress diligently.
• Stay updated with emerging threats and recommend improvements to scanning procedures and security posture.
• Provide periodic vulnerability status reports and risk trend analyses.
• Engage with IT, compliance, risk, and business units to integrate cybersecurity measures within operational processes.
• Present vulnerability assessments and recommendations to executive-level committees.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or closely related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years practical experience in vulnerability assessment and URL scanning.
• Professional certifications such as CEH or equivalent Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) certificates are advantageous.
• Proficient with URL scanning platforms like VirusTotal, Cisco Umbrella, and Zscaler.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, and Rapid7.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks considered a plus.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams.

Work Conditions & Additional Information

• Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai - On-site role.
• Work Shifts: Regular business hours shift.
• This position is on third party payroll.
• Immediate to 30-day notice period acceptable for joining.
