Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Tech Client physical security team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, a dedication to data-driven decision making, and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights that guide strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold Pinkerton's core principles of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all tasks.
• Collect, clean, and structure expansive datasets drawn from multiple sources ensuring their accuracy and reliability.
• Design and maintain efficient databases, data systems, and methods for data collection.
• Examine intricate datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support business strategies.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and generate pragmatic recommendations.
• Develop detailed reports and interactive dashboards using sophisticated visualization platforms like Google Data Studio and Tableau.
• Clearly communicate analytical results to stakeholders to enhance understanding and decision-making.
• Collaborate extensively with cross-disciplinary teams such as product management, engineering, and marketing to grasp business needs.
• Translate insights accurately to promote informed organizational decisions.
• Keep updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in data analytics.
• Identify and advocate for opportunities to optimize processes based on analytical discoveries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience as a Data Analyst or in a related capacity within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or equivalent programming languages used in data analysis.
• Experience working with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.
• Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Working Conditions
