About the Role

This contract position for a Data Analyst focuses on analyzing complex business data to drive strategic decision-making. It is a fully remote role allowing candidates to work from anywhere globally and collaborate across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, process, and conduct statistical evaluations on large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Create and update dashboards and reports to showcase important metrics and insights clearly.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to define data needs aligned with business goals.
• Produce on-demand reports and visual data presentations to aid departmental decisions.
• Maintain the integrity and consistency of data through rigorous validation and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in SQL for effective querying and data manipulation within relational databases.
• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents.
• Strong analytical capabilities for interpreting intricate data sets.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data modeling approaches.
• Experience with Python or R to facilitate data processing and analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and complex functions.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to operate autonomously with little supervision.
• Excellent communication ability to convey findings to non-technical audiences clearly.
