Job Overview
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role involves gathering and processing vast datasets from various sources and transforming them into meaningful insights that drive decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and analyze extensive data collections sourced from multiple platforms.
- Design and produce interactive dashboards, detailed reports, and visual data presentations utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Interpret patterns and trends in data to deliver actionable recommendations.
- Create and maintain SQL scripts for efficient data retrieval and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate closely with diverse departmental teams to understand and fulfill business data requirements.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate consistent performance monitoring reports.
- Ensure that all data is accurate, reliable, and maintains high-quality standards.
- Communicate analytical results effectively to stakeholders through clear and succinct presentations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or an associated discipline.
- Experience ranging from freshers with strong capabilities up to 3 years in data analysis roles.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
- Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for data visualization.
- Basic understanding of programming languages like Python or R considered a plus.
- Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving competencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
