Job Overview

This role focuses on delivering precise, prompt, and insightful financial analyses and reports to support the Commercial Lines business's performance and strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, validate, reconcile, and manage financial information sourced from various internal systems.
  • Conduct variance analysis to detect trends, irregularities, and factors driving business outcomes.
  • Create and upkeep dashboards, key performance indicators, and automated reports for finance and business stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning using comprehensive data analysis.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate, consistent, and complies with reporting standards and internal controls.
  • Engage with Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and Business units to provide insights grounded in data.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or business intelligence within insurance or financial services sectors is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, Profit & Loss analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including functions, PivotTables, and Power Query.
  • Experience in using Business Intelligence software such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
