Data Analyst - Marketing

Overview

This role seeks a Marketing Analyst possessing strong business insight combined with technical analytical expertise to transform data into actionable insights. Collaborating closely with marketing teams, the analyst will address strategic questions to influence prioritization and outcomes. Core functions include analyzing marketing initiative effectiveness, interpreting data to support marketing and business strategy, monitoring engagement, sales, and ROI, and facilitating stakeholder collaboration across a complex organizational matrix. Regular reporting and insight sharing with internal teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, report on, and analyze marketing activity results and ad hoc analytics requests, automating routine reports.
• Evaluate outcomes from A/B and multivariate tests, communicate findings, and offer data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with data scientists and other analysts on CRM-related reporting and audience segmentation.
• Engage with agency partners to identify reporting requirements and provide constructive feedback.
• Recommend improvements regarding audience segmentation, testing methodologies, and data sourcing.
• Respond to internal inquiries concerning performance metrics and data.
• Develop PowerPoint presentations for data insights aimed at internal teams and executives.
• Coordinate with various teams to acquire and incorporate new or refreshed data points.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert on customer and market data for other marketing functions including e-commerce, advertising, brand, and product marketing.

• Familiarity with CRM concepts and best practices is advantageous.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for quantitative work and PowerPoint for presentations.
• Competence in analyzing reports and campaign performance to articulate actionable recommendations.
• Working knowledge of Tableau for data visualization.
• Experience with Adobe Analytics is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $69.00 per hour. Overtime pay is applicable at 1.5 times the base hourly wage for hours exceeding 40 per week or as mandated by law. Final salary offers depend on the candidate's experience, education, and skills.
