About the Role

We are hiring a Data Analyst for a leading software company on an urgent initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. Candidates based on the Australian East Coast, including cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Canberra, are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex product and business issues through data-driven insights and strategic analysis.
• Establish and monitor key product metrics, predict performance outcomes, and analyze trends to evaluate success and direct product enhancements.
• Provide actionable recommendations that shape product strategy, inform roadmaps, and foster the development of valuable, customer-centric solutions.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or Product Data Analyst.
• Background working within product-focused or SaaS company environments.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing extensive datasets.
• Practical experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Databricks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities with a talent for transforming data into compelling business narratives.
