Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to enhance our fraud detection and investigative efforts by meticulously analyzing complex data sets in La Porte, Texas. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze extensive and diverse data sources to detect unusual transactions, emerging fraud trends, and potential weaknesses in controls.
• Develop detailed reports, dashboards, and summaries to assist teams in tracking risk patterns and prioritizing investigations.
• Collaborate closely with fraud prevention and investigation teams to interpret data findings and aid timely case development.
• Assess suspicious activities and behavioral markers to differentiate between legitimate and potentially fraudulent transactions.
• Provide clear, data-driven recommendations that guide anti-fraud strategies and operational enhancements.
• Document methodologies, findings, and generated reports thoroughly to ensure audit readiness and consistency.
• Participate in the ongoing improvement of analytical processes, including report logic updates, data validation, and monitoring performance metrics.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in data analysis roles focused on fraud detection, risk assessment, or investigative support.
• Proficient knowledge of fraud detection methodologies, analytics techniques, and anti-fraud practices.
