About the Role
We are partnering with a rapidly growing stealth startup to recruit a curious and detail-driven Data Analytics Intern. This role offers a valuable chance to collaborate closely with founding members and acquire practical expertise in extracting data insights, constructing dashboards, and supporting data-informed decisions within an impactful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and analyze both structured and unstructured data sets.
- Carry out exploratory data analysis to discover trends and patterns.
- Create and update dashboards and reports to deliver actionable business insights.
- Develop efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Contribute to defining key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and business teams.
- Communicate insights clearly and effectively to aid decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with real datasets or analytics projects.
- Understanding of business metrics and performance evaluation.
- Exposure to A/B testing or statistical methods.
- Experience working in startups or fast-moving work environments.
