Job Overview
As a Delivery Boy at Blinkit Private Limited, your primary responsibility is to pick up grocery parcels from Blinkit's dark store and deliver them to customers efficiently, aiming for delivery times of 10-20 minutes. This role involves using the Blinkit Partner App to manage your tasks and maintaining good performance ratings and punctuality.
Work Schedule and Environment
The position offers flexible working hours with options for morning, evening, or night shifts. The job is predominantly field-based, requiring the use of a bike or scooter for deliveries.
Compensation Details
The earnings are order-based, combining a base pay with per-order payments, incentives, and a petrol allowance. Typical per-order earnings range from ₹20 to ₹35. Monthly incomes vary depending on workload and performance:
- Normal full-time work: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000
- High performance with extended hours: ₹40,000 – ₹70,000
- Heavy workload with incentives: ₹80,000 or more
Achieving ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 monthly involves working 10-12+ hours daily, completing 25-40+ orders per day during peak hours, operating in busy city locations, and benefiting from incentives and bonuses. Earnings are influenced by order availability, demand, working hours, and fuel costs, which are typically borne by the delivery partner.
Example Earnings
A daily example includes completing 30 orders at ₹25 each (₹750), plus incentives of ₹200–₹500, resulting in a total daily income between ₹900 and ₹1,200. Over 26 working days, this translates to approximately ₹25,000 to ₹40,000.
