Overview

We are seeking a skilled BuildOps Dispatch Coordinator to efficiently manage and dispatch commercial technicians specializing in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing services. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with BuildOps software, and excel in a dynamic, fast-moving 24/7 service environment, handling both urgent and scheduled maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize BuildOps to dispatch and schedule field technicians effectively.
• Manage emergency call responses alongside planned preventive maintenance visits.
• Track technician routes, job progress, and completion times to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain and update detailed work orders, service notes, and customer information within BuildOps.
• Maintain open communication channels with customers about service technician estimated arrival times and updates.
• Collaborate closely with technicians in the field to support seamless job completion.
• Balance urgent service demands while optimizing technician scheduling.
• Keep thorough dispatch records and monitor open work orders for prompt resolution.

Job Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience working with BuildOps dispatch software is essential.
• Background in dispatching technicians within commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing services.
• Capability to thrive in a high-pressure, continuous 24/7 service environment.
• Strong organizational skills including multitasking and scheduling expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to stay composed and make rapid decisions during emergency dispatches.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications.

• Experience collaborating with commercial service contractors.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance planning and scheduling.
