About the Role
The Document Drawer position serves as a crucial intermediate role within the Closing Department of Kings Mortgage Services, based in Santa Ana, CA. This individual is responsible for meticulously preparing and organizing all loan documentation required for the closing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to confirm that all information is accurately entered within the Encompass system.
- Assign funding conditions to address any outstanding items that must be resolved prior to funding.
- Run and scrutinize Mavent reports to verify their correctness and issue Certifications of Compliance (COCs) as needed.
- Distribute finalized documents to the relevant parties such as Escrow Agents, Brokers, and Account Managers.
- Collaborate with Escrow Agents to make corrections and rebalance the Final Closing Disclosure when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining timely communication with brokers and borrowers, delivering precise loan status updates, and proactively addressing any inquiries.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as required by management.
Preferred Qualifications and Expertise
- Minimum of three years experience in a related role handling mortgage closing documentation.
- Proficiency and working knowledge of the Encompass loan origination system.
- Familiarity with document preparation processes for dry, wet, and attorney states.
Compensation and Benefits
