Role Overview

We are seeking a confident and proactive Duty Manager who will be pivotal in ensuring flawless daily operations and delivering exceptional guest service. This leadership role acts as the main point of contact for both guests and team members during shifts, guaranteeing the highest standards of service and smooth functioning of all hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily hotel activities ensuring seamless integration across departments.
Serve as the Manager on Duty, promptly addressing guest issues, feedback, and operational challenges with professionalism.
Lead by example to uphold superior guest experiences and maintain luxury service standards.
Collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other teams as necessary.
Maintain a visible presence in guest areas to ensure excellent service delivery.
Manage VIP guest arrival and special requests with discretion and professionalism.
Effectively resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfactory solutions.
Monitor hotel cleanliness, presentation, standards, and overall satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to company policies, brand standards, health & safety regulations, and operational guidelines.
Coordinate responses to emergencies, safeguarding guests and staff wellbeing.
Prepare operational handover reports and communicate essential information between shifts.
Assist in training, coaching, and developing operational staff members.

Candidate Profile

Experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or comparable leadership role in a luxury hotel setting.
Proven background working in a 5-star hotel environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and memorable experiences.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Well-developed organizational skills with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
Familiarity with hotel property management systems such as Opera or equivalent.
Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations, and luxury hospitality standards.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays as required.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams within a positive work culture.
