Role Overview
Larsen & Toubro is hiring an EHS professional to manage environmental, health, and safety execution at the site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on ensuring the site runs in line with company standards, applicable laws, and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete implementation of site EHS plans, procedures, and compliance requirements, making sure they align with internal policies and legal mandates.
- Keep all required permits, approvals, licenses, and supporting records current, and represent the site during statutory inspections to avoid any compliance gaps.
- Identify hazards and evaluate risks through HIRA, put control measures in place, and routinely inspect work areas for unsafe situations.
- Take charge of incident investigations, determine root causes, track corrective and preventive actions through to closure, and submit incident reports promptly and accurately.
- Plan and deliver EHS inductions, toolbox briefings, and safety awareness sessions for employees and contractors, while checking the effectiveness of the training periodically.
