Role Overview

We seek an Equity Research Analyst to join our metals and mining coverage team in a dynamic and entrepreneurial workplace. This position offers the chance to collaborate with seasoned professionals and directly engage with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce fundamental analysis-driven research reports on small-cap companies across the metals and mining spectrum, including explorers, developers, and producers. These reports include initiation papers, research notes, flashes, and thematic studies.
• Construct and upkeep detailed financial models covering financial statements, valuations, and comparative benchmarking.
• Source and compile pertinent information from financial reports, industry publications, and market data.
• Address ad-hoc research requirements and contribute broadly to the research workflow.
• Support the leadership team with operational tasks as requested.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years’ experience in equity research, investment banking, asset management, mine engineering, or geology.
• Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated competency in accounting, financial modeling, and analytical evaluation.
• Capability to thrive within a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong command of written and spoken communication.
• Efficient multitasking across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Authentic passion for capital markets and investment research.
