The Structures team leads some of the country’s most technically challenging projects, supported by global expertise, innovation, and resources.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Estimating Manager to oversee and advance our estimating division. Based onsite in Marlborough, this leadership role involves directing skilled estimators and bidding professionals to shape the strategy, precision, and effectiveness of project pricing. Your efforts will leave a lasting impact on the project and its legacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate early bidding strategies guaranteeing transparency, innovation, and commercial viability in all tenders.
• Ensure accuracy, robust governance, and high standards across every project estimate.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with clients, collaborators, designers, and internal teams.
• Promote constructability, safety measures, and smart risk management starting from project inception.
• Influence HEB Construction’s market stance and shape the future direction of the Structures division.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure estimating, preferably with exposure to structures and marine projects.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in team management, cultural development, and capability building.
• Strong commercial insight with a passion for foundational estimating principles, ideally familiar with CCS (Cost Classification System).
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate and persuade effectively.
