Role Overview
This position involves the installation and activation of Airtel Xstream Fiber services at customer premises. The Field Installation Engineer is responsible for setting up broadband and Wi-Fi connections, installing and testing routers, handling fiber optic cable tasks, and providing front-line customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation of Airtel Xstream Fiber services at various customer locations.
- Activate and configure broadband and Wi-Fi connections to ensure proper service delivery.
- Install routers and carry out thorough testing to verify connectivity and function.
- Handle fiber cable laying, splicing, and conduct basic troubleshooting for resolving faults.
- Address service complaints promptly by diagnosing and resolving issues effectively.
- Assist customers with Wi-Fi usage and provide basic technical support.
- Maintain daily reports on installation and service activities to keep accurate records.
