Finance Manager

Job Summary

As a Finance Manager, you will significantly influence our capacity to make sound financial decisions, optimize our resources effectively, and support sustainable growth within Honeywell’s PSS Europe operations. Your responsibilities include budgeting, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and delivering strategic financial insights that shape the company's financial direction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Guarantee compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards.
• Manage cash flow diligently, optimizing working capital, and supervise short-term investment approaches.
• Create and update financial models to assist in forecasting and informed decision-making.
• Conduct scenario analyses and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial results.
• Ensure all financial activities conform with local and international laws and standards.
• Advise department leaders and senior management on financial strategies, investment opportunities, and resource distribution.
• Oversee transfer pricing analysis and support taxation matters.
• Manage standard costing, absorption, and inventory issues related to inactive, obsolete, or surplus stock.
• Conduct physical inventory processes and audits, including cycle counts.
• Support fixed asset verification compliance efforts.
• Review and process shipped but not billed entries.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Execute special or ad-hoc financial projects aimed at enhancing financial analysis or reducing costs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline is required.
• Minimum of five years experience in senior financial analysis roles.
• Experience within ISC Finance functions is advantageous.
• Proficiency with SAP, Smart View, Business Objects, and Power BI.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications, notably Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• High commitment to customer service and excellent communication skills across various platforms.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships in a virtual team setting.
• Proven ability to take ownership, work independently and follow through on responsibilities.
