Finance Manager

About the Role

We are partnering exclusively with a well-established and thriving distribution company to recruit a Finance Manager for their Irish division in Cork. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations ensuring precise financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director and senior leadership to guide strategic and commercial decisions.
• Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
• Maintain rigorous financial controls, governance standards, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Provide insightful commercial analysis and financial performance insights to aid business expansion.
• Manage the audit cycle and fulfill key financial reporting obligations.
• Supervise the Credit Control team and facilitate commercial customer agreements.
• Identify and implement enhancements in financial processes, reporting, and operational workflows.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team to maximize effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a recognized professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and cultivating a finance team.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to convert financial data into actionable business strategies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and the capacity to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
• A proactive approach characterized by continuous improvement and innovation.
