Role overview

This is a full-time remote finance role supporting a client’s research and analysis needs. The position focuses on in-depth financial research to guide investment choices and broader strategic initiatives. You will work closely with teams across functions to build models and frameworks that improve financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities

Create and apply quantitative models to study financial markets, trends, and investment opportunities.
Carry out detailed research on financial products, economic indicators, and developments within specific sectors.
Build and improve automated approaches for financial analysis and decision support.
Partner with data science and engineering teams to turn research findings into scalable solutions.
Share findings and recommendations with stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Required skills and qualifications

Working knowledge of Python, R, or similar languages used for financial analysis and modeling.
Hands-on experience with financial data such as market information, financial statements, and economic indicators.
Strong grounding in quantitative finance, econometrics, or a closely related discipline.
Ability to build, test, and improve financial models and algorithms.
Comfort working with large datasets and turning them into practical insights.

Location: Remote, with work possible from anywhere.

Employment type: Full-time.

Compensation: $350K to $500K per year.
