Role Overview
The FMCG Export Executive will be based on-site in Greenford, managing export sales and international customer accounts within the FMCG sector. Key responsibilities encompass handling orders from initial inquiry through to delivery, preparing export documentation, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with relevant international trade standards. Daily activities involve stock monitoring, quotation preparation, shipment tracking, customer query resolution, and interdepartmental collaboration with sales, finance, and supply chain teams. Additional duties include identifying new export markets, supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to sales data analysis and forecasting.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Hands-on experience in FMCG export or international sales, with comprehensive understanding of global trade principles, export documentation, and Incoterms.
- Strong customer account management abilities, including negotiation and sustained relationship building.
- Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain, working closely with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs officials.
- Excellent numerical and analytical capabilities for pricing, margin review, and sales report generation with high accuracy.
- Proficient communicator, adept in engaging with stakeholders across diverse cultures and time zones.
- Competency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP or CRM platforms is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, multi-task efficiently, and independently resolve issues.
- Previous experience in FMCG distribution or wholesale is advantageous; multilingual skills and knowledge of international markets add value.
- Educational credentials in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
