About the Role
Hackajob is collaborating with Version 1 to find a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join their expanding UK Digital & Cloud Practice. This practice is growing rapidly, offering excellent career growth opportunities and involvement in challenging, large-scale transformational and migration projects across both public and private sectors.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, technical architects, UX/UI designers, and other team members to understand requirements and lead the design and development of digital solutions.
- Ensure all code complies with architectural standards and front-end coding conventions.
- Apply performance best practices to optimize application responsiveness and efficiency.
- Recommend and implement updates to keep security and development practices current and robust.
- Contribute to shared component libraries by creating modular, reusable components.
- Mentor junior developers and actively share knowledge within the team to elevate overall expertise.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Extensive experience in front-end development, predominantly with React.
- Proficient with state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
- Experience using React Query for data fetching and caching.
- Skilled in unit testing using Jest.
- Proficiency with Node.js backend technologies.
- Familiarity with TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with server frameworks such as Nest.js or Express.js is advantageous.
- Strong foundational skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Enthusiasm to engage with emerging AI technologies.
- Must be Security Cleared (SC) eligible due to government client engagements.
