Frontend Engineer

About the Role

This position involves contributing to the evaluation and enhancement of cutting-edge AI coding models by performing structured technical assessments. The focus is on realistic systems engineering workflows and assessing the performance of AI models in these contexts. Availability is limited, and candidates will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

Primary Responsibilities

• Utilize frontier AI coding agents to complete and assess complex engineering assignments.
• Examine AI-generated code, architectural choices, and system implementations for quality.
• Detect bugs, identify edge cases, performance issues, and potential failure points.
• Compare outputs from various frontier AI models, evaluating their respective strengths and limitations.
• Employ professional engineering expertise to analyze realistic systems engineering scenarios.

Time Commitment

This project operates in sprint cycles, requiring availability for 12 to 24-hour periods depending on client needs.

Who Should Apply

• Professionals with a minimum of 2 years' experience in systems engineering.
• Background in distributed systems, networking, operating systems, storage infrastructure, or database internals.
• Regular users of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or analogous platforms.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated system designs and implementations.
• Experience in developing scalable and performance-critical systems is advantageous.

Compensation

• Earn $400 for each approved task.
• Typical task completion time ranges from 1 to 3 hours after onboarding.
• No restrictions on the number of tasks accepted.
• Payment is contingent on task acceptance.
