Overview
Become part of a mission-driven software development team dedicated to supporting an essential intelligence reporting platform utilized by government agencies and global mission partners. This platform oversees the entire lifecycle of critical intelligence reporting, from initial submission and tracking to management and long-term storage.
Role Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer, your main objective will be to improve, sustain, and modernize a mature enterprise software application, ensuring its consistent reliability, optimal performance, and seamless integration with various interconnected systems. Collaborate closely with engineers, system administrators, and mission stakeholders to create secure, scalable solutions that meet fast-paced operational demands.
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise web applications using current Java technologies.
- Maintain and modernize the existing production codebase effectively.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs facilitating communication among enterprise applications.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate application, system integration, and performance challenges.
- Uphold and optimize interfaces connecting multiple integrated systems.
- Implement front-end functionalities using Angular and support legacy components as necessary.
- Construct backend services leveraging Java 17+, Spring Boot, and enterprise development standards.
- Work with Oracle and MongoDB databases to develop, enhance, and troubleshoot application capabilities.
- Take part in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, mission-centric software solutions.
Qualifications
- Experienced in building full stack Java applications within enterprise settings.
- Proficient in Java 17+ and Spring Boot framework.
- Skilled with Oracle and MongoDB database management.
- Capable with Angular front-end development.
- Familiar with designing and using RESTful web services.
- Experienced in sustaining and enhancing existing production applications.
- Adept at troubleshooting complex issues spanning multiple integrated systems.
- Solid understanding of enterprise application architecture and system integration dynamics.
- Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Information
An active security clearance with polygraph is required for this position.
Salary Range: $92,000 - $115,000 per year
